SYSTEMS · DATA · AI · SCALE
I connect design, data, AI, and architecture with the strategy to fund them — a systems thinker who ships large-scale change and brings people along.
For 25 years I've worked across the whole stack of what makes software feel effortless — the systems, the tooling, and the teams that let good ideas ship. My range is unusually wide on purpose: design systems used by hundreds of engineers, real-time infrastructure for video games, and data platforms that turn noise into decisions. Systems thinking is the thread that ties it together — I'm happiest zooming out to see how the parts connect, then building the platform that makes the whole thing move as one.
I'm drawn to the hard, unglamorous work most people route around: multi-year migrations, re-platforming under live load, and the governance and compliance that most treat as an afterthought — data stewardship, lineage, privacy standards, and the audit trail that lets an organization move fast without breaking trust. It's not glamorous, but it's what makes everything else safe to build on.
I also make the financial case for the bets that only pay off later. But none of it happens alone — the work I'm proudest of has been collaborative by design, aligning many teams around a shared platform and a shared map, and leading by example rather than by mandate. At The LEGO Group I operate where architecture, product, and strategy meet — building the systems behind the play.
